The Turner Foundation was established in January 2001 as part of the estate plan of local businessman and philanthropist Harry M. Turner. This charitable foundation was created to be both a platform and a catalyst for the improvement of life in Springfield and Clark County through investment in community non-profit groups.

As responsive community leaders, our priorities will change and evolve as we address public needs. We believe it is important to continue to support those causes Harry Turner invested in throughout his lifetime, as well as to build new paths with wisdom and insight. We believe each of The Turner Foundation's investments will be fundamental pillars in the process of constructing a vital community that offers many unique opportunities and benefits to its citizens and the region.
