The Turner Foundation was established
in January 2001 as part of the estate plan of local businessman
and philanthropist Harry M. Turner. This charitable foundation
was created to be both a platform and a catalyst for the improvement
of life in Springfield and Clark County through investment
in community non-profit groups.
As responsive community leaders, our priorities will change
and evolve as we address public needs. We believe it is important
to continue to support those causes Harry Turner invested
in throughout his lifetime, as well as to build new paths
with wisdom and insight. We believe each of The Turner Foundation's
investments will be fundamental pillars in the process of constructing
a vital community that offers many unique opportunities and
benefits to its citizens and the region.

Debbie Horton
Executive Assistant
Debbie, a Springfield native, graduated from Northeastern High School and received her Associates Degree from Clark State Community
College. She also attended college in Portland, Oregon and remained on the West Coast in Oregon and Northern California for
16 years. She worked for several international accounting firms while on the West Coast in a supervisory/office management capacity.
Since returning to the Springfield area, and prior to joining the Foundation, she worked as assistant to the chief financial officer of
Rittal Corporation and as Corporate Secretary for Cornerstone Bank. |
